Men’s Hairstyles

You can walk down the street in your hometown and not see a single person with decent haircut. You can also look down the walk path and see several heads with fantastic hairstyles. All of this is because beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. It does not matter which style is presented to you, your personal preference will be the judge.

There have been hundreds possibly thousands of men’s hairstyles in the past century alone. We cannot name them all but we can talk about some of those that are currently trending or have outlived fashion trends.

Crew Cut.

One of the most popular men’s hairstyles is a crew cut. It can be done in one way or in different ways. You can have the cut done on your hair. This is a straight down to the skin cut. There is little if no hair left on the scalp. This style is often common amongst weight lifters, athletes and fighters. The look is reasonable and saves on styling time hence a plus.

Slicked Back hair.

One of the styles that has outlived fashion is the sleeked back hair look. It screams sophistication and class. You can never go wrong with this look especially for a suit and tie event. It gives off the idea of a polished well-mannered male. You can sweep the hair to the side if you are feeling somewhat frisky on that day. You can use your hair gel or pomade to achieve this look.

Curly Hair.

Another popular style is the curly hair look. You can achieve this look using hair curling cream. For most of the men who spot this look they naturally have curly hair. Yes you can just walk out the shower and comb it to look curly. Make sure to use a little cream or oil to avod dry frizzy hair when sporting this look.

Curly hair with fade.

This is one of the most requested men’s hairstyles for any barbershop near a college. You can get this kind of hairstyle if you are going for the edgy look. It also works for the younger generation as it is not very professional looking. This style is great for a vacation or short trip.

Pompadour.

Who doesn’t love this look? I think every man has at one time or the other wanted to rock the mighty pompadour look. You can get this look done in a salon or barbershop near you. The look can come with different variations but the same cool kid effect. All you have to do is walk into a reputable barber shop and have your mane styled.

Short ponytail.

Yes the ponytail still exists. The simple classic look has had variations made to it. With undercuts and a fade you could be the next rock and roll star.

Man Bun.

Lastly we have the controversial man bun. This is when your hair is gathered at the top of your head in a messy fashion and tucked into a bun.
